L'Ordine de la Luna Crecente

In Anno Societatis XXXVII, during the Reign of Their Royal Majesties Aaron and Alisandra, during the stewardship of Uko and Francesca, Baron and Baroness of Twin Moons, there was created an award known as L'Ordine della Luna Crescente.

I. There shall exist in the Barony of Twin Moons in the Kingdom of Atenveldt an award known as L'Ordine della Luna Crescente, which may be given by the Baron and/or Baroness to those young people who demonstrate an understanding of life in these Current Middle Ages, who know and use the appropriate courtesies consistently, and who demonstrate to the best of their abailities and knowledge a willingness to serve, abilities in the Arts and Sciences, and an interest in the Arts of War.

II. This award shall be given in two degrees. Companions della Bleue: in which the recipients have attained no more than 12 years of age and have been active in the Society of Creative Anachronism; and Companions della Argent: those who have attained no more than 18 and no less than 13 years of age, and have been active in the Society of Creative Anachronism for at least a year. Designation of degree is determined by the age of the recipient at the time of presentation.

III. This award may be presented to the same individual more than once, but only in a higher degree than is currently held by the recipient.

IV. The members of this order shall be styled as 'Companions of L'Ordine della Luna Crescente', and shall be entitled to place the initials L.C.T.M. after their names.

V. The insignia of the Order shall be a medallion: Azure, a pall inverted bretessed between two increscents argent. The medallions shall be suspended from colored ribands to denote the degree of the award: Companions della Bleue on a riband of blue; Companions della Argent on a riband of silver.

VI. Companions of the Order shall take precedence after non-armigerous Principality orders.

VII. The Principals of the Order shall be the Baronial Coronets of Twin Moons, and the Protectors of the Order shall be the Crown of Atenveldt.

VIII. Amendments to this charter shall be made by the Baronial Coronets of Twin Moons, after consultation with the Crown of Atenveldt.

IX. Membership in the Order of all previous recipients is hereby confirmed.
